Hubert Vester Auto Group
Founded in Wilson in 1991. Three dealerships. One family commitment: Built on family, driven by trust.
Our story
Hubert Vester founded Hubert Vester Auto Group in 1991. From its beginnings as a single dealership, the business grew into a multi-brand automotive group serving drivers across Eastern North Carolina.
The next generation learned the business from the ground up. In a 2022 interview, Chief Operating Officer Chris Vester described starting in the detailing department before working through parts, service, sales, and management. He became the company’s COO and chief visionary in 2014.
Today, the group’s three dealerships—Hubert Vester Honda, Hubert Vester Toyota, and Hubert Vester Chevrolet—are located minutes apart along Raleigh Road Parkway West in Wilson. Concentrating the stores in one community lets each rooftop maintain its own manufacturer expertise while sharing a family-owned standard for how customers and employees should be treated.

Built on family, driven by trust
Family ownership matters most when customers can feel it in the experience. Our goal is to build relationships that last beyond one transaction or one service visit.
We believe customers should receive clear answers, thoughtful guidance, and respect for their time—from research and test drives through financing and ownership.
The group has described itself as a leadership-development company within the automotive business, investing in people who can positively influence customers, coworkers, families, and the community.
Our relationship continues through factory-focused maintenance, repairs, genuine parts, ownership guidance, and teams who are here when the vehicle needs attention.
